Songs of my Life

Everyone experiences certain moments where you want to express yourself in a different way and sometimes music is the best companion during those moments. Sometimes you just want to lie down and listen to your favorite music and just forget the world. When we need to let go of the emotion or feeling, we use song as an outlet. When words are not enough to say what we need to say, song is the perfect thing to say.

Once in my life, I ought to concentrate my mind upon the remembered earth. I ought to give myself up to a particular landscape in my experience, looking at it from as many angles as I can, to wonder upon it, and to dwell upon it. Because in this cycle that we call life, I am one of those who are next in line.

The story of my life is composed of different sounds like the songs I hear from a radio. I could relate and understand the contents and messages of those songs, simply because as a human, I experience bad or good things and sad and happy moments. It is sad because since when I was three-months old, my parents got separated. That's why I belong in broken family. And since then, I never had to live with my father to call "Papa" like others and I never had to dance with my father. Besides circumstances in my life, my mother is a strong one because she always do her best. She is working hard in her own to support and to feed my two sisters and me. So I am very thankful to God for giving me my loving mother and two nice sisters. When I feel shuttered into pieces, there are always beside me to make as a whole. That's the reason, I told to  myself that I never cry.

Life is matter of realization. Don't stop thinking positive, because all problems have an appropriate solutions like the problems or equations on Mathematics. Everything will be fine in doing such good things. Everything takes time as love takes time. I love my family, friends, and God. And I dedicate the song I''ll be alright for them because I always feel alright with them.

NEXT IN LINE
BY: AFTER IMAGE

What has life to offer me when I grow old?

What's there to look forward to beyond the biting cold
They say it's difficult, yes, stereotypical.
What's there beyond sleep, eat, work in this cruel life

Ain't there nothin' else 'round here but human strife
'Cause they say it's difficult, yes, stereotypica
Gotta be conventional, you can't be so radical.

Chorus:
So I sing this song to all of my age
For these are the questions we've got to face
For in this cycle that we call life
We are the ones who are next in line
We are next in line.

What has life to offer me when I grow old?
What's there to look forward to beyond the biting cold
'Cause they say it's difficult, yes, stereotypical
Gotta be conventional, you can't be so radical.
So I sing this song to all of my age

For these are the questions we've got to face
For in this cycle that we call lifeWe are the ones who are next in line
We are next in line
Oh-hoh, we are next in line.

Bridge:
And we gotta work,
we gotta feel (we gotta feel)
Let's open our eyes and do whatever it takes
We gotta work, we gotta feel (we gotta feel)
Let's open our eyes, oh-woh
And sing this song to all of our age

For these are the questions we've got to face
For in this cycle that we call life
We are the ones who are next in line

DANCE WITH MY FATHER

BY: LUTHER VANDROSS

Back when I was a child
Before life removed all the innocence
My father would lift me high
And dance with my mother and me and then
Spin me around til' I fell asleep
Then up the stairs he would carry me
And I knew for sure I was loved

If I could get another chance

Another walk, another dance with him
I'd play a song that would never ever end
How I'd love, love, love to dance with my father again, ooh

To get my way I would run from her to him

He'd make me laugh just to comfort me, yeah yeah
Then finally make me do just what my momma said
Later that night when I was asleep
He left a dollar under my sheet
Never dreamed that he would be gone from me

If I could steal one final glance, one final step

One final dance with him
I'd play a song that would never ever end
'Cause I'd love, love, love to dance with my father again
And I'd hear how my mother cried for him
I pray for her even more than me
I pray for her even more than me
But could you send back the only man she loved?
I know you don't do it usually
But dear Lord she's dying to dance with my father again

If I could get another chance
When I and my mother would disagree
If I could steal one final glance, one final step
Sometimes I'd listen outside her door
I know I'm praying for much too much
Every night I fall asleep and this is all I ever dream

I NEVER CRY
BY: ALICE COOPER

If there's a tear on my face
It makes me shiver to the bones it shakes me, babe
It's just a heartache that got caught in my eye
And you know, I never cry
I never cry

Sometimes I drink more than I need
Until the TV's dead and gone
I may be lonely but I'm never alone
And the night may pass me by
But I'll never cry

Take away, take away my eyes
Sometimes I'd rather be blind
Break a heart, break a heart of stone
Open it up but don't you leave it alone

'Cause that's all I've got to give you
Believe me babe, it ain't been used
My heart's a virgin, it ain't never been tried
And you know I never cry
And you know I never cry
And you know, you know, you know, you know
That I never cry, I never cry

Break a heart, break a heart of stone
Open it up but don't you leave it alone
'Cause that's all I've got to give to you
Believe me babe, it ain't been used
My heart's a virgin, it ain't never been tried
And you know I never cry
I never cry

LOVE TAKES TIME
BY: MARIAH CAREY

Oh, oh
I had, I had it all
But I let it slip away
Couldn't see I treated you wrong
Now I wander around
Feeling down and cold
Trying to believe that you're gone

Love takes time to heal when you're hurting so much
Couldn't see that I was blind to let you go
I can't escape the pain inside
'Cause love takes time
I don't wanna be here
I don't wanna be here alone

Losing my mind
From this hollow in my heart
Suddenly I'm so incomplete, yeah
Lord I'm needing you now
Tell me how to stop the rain?
Tears are falling down endlessly, oh

Love takes time to heal when you're hurting so much
Couldn't see that I was blind to let you go
I can't escape the pain inside
'Cause love takes time
And I don't wanna be here
I don't wanna be here alone

You might say that it's over
You might say that you don't care, oh
You might say you don't miss me
You don't need me
But I know that you do
And I feel that you do inside, oh

Love takes time to heal when you're hurting so much
Couldn't see that I was blind to let you go
I can't escape the pain inside
'Cause love takes time
I don't wanna be there
I don't wanna be there alone, oh

I'LL BE ALRIGHT
BY:SARAH GERONIMO

It's time for me to let you know
I am so glad that I have you
Through all these years
I am so thankful

Now that I've grown
I'll always be thinking of you
With all the things you taught me so
Always remember

I'll be alright, I'll be OK
I will be good learning all the way
All from the heart, these things I do
I'll make you proud because I love you
I'll be alright, I'll be OK
I will be fine
And I'll be good all the way
All from the heart, these things I do
I'll make you proud because I do
I love you so

I will stand tall and I'll try not to fall
As I reach all of my goalsI will go on,
I will move on
All because of you
For you

I'll be alright,
I'll be OK
I will be good learning all the way
All from the heart, these things I do
I'll make you proud because I love you
I'll be alright, I'll be OK
I will be fine
And I'll be good all the way
All from the heart, these things I do
I'll make you proud because I do
I love you so.
I love you so.
I love you sooo.
