READING: "The Noblest of all the Hobbies"
Yesterday, I was reading. Today, I am learning.
If you read for pleasure, if others see you reading, then you learn. You exercise your imaginations and you show others that reading is a good thing.
Reading is my hobby. I read kind of materials that are interesting like magazines, newspapers, and story books. My hobby got started when I was a little girl I always wanted my older sisters to read stories tome. As time goes by, I learned to read. I started with ABC books and soon I could read more fairy tales and other stories on my own. Now, when there's an available reading material, I read about it.
Reading makes me learn about different things. I learned about people, travel, achievements, and other fascinating things of our world. When I read, I get so much information and facts about a particular subject or topic and issues. Those information and facts certainly help me in my everyday life wherein I am better equipped to strive with living. Reading is learning because it informs, entertains, and teaches a lesson. Every time I read, I see myself laughing and relaxed. Sometimes, my sister asks me "why are you laughing?" then I say "there's something funny in what I am reading." Also, reading allows me to discover myself and grow through understanding the values of others. It teaches me the unknown and undiscovered things about ourselves, as what Saint Augustine many centuries ago called "the dark corners of the heart." Reading helps me to appreciate literary masterpieces and value the meaning of life. Another important thing in my hobby is that reading is travelling because when I read about places, it makes me feel that I am in other beautiful places. I learned about a particular place and see the beauty of it through stirring my imagination as a reader. Reading is wonderful thing because I don't need to learn things in a hard way. I mean, I don't have to catch an illness just to know that it can kill me. I can avoid it because I know the risks. i Don't have to go into the forest too just to learn about the tiger because I c a learn about it in reading.
Reading is learning.
Reading is travelling.
Reading is wonderful thing.
Reading is living.
Aside from being more informed about many things, I also spend my time lucratively, so I continue to read. It is a good hobby. It is my hobby.
